Mobidomo cabin

The Mobidomo cabin is a semi selfbuild concept, protected by a patent. The wall thickness is approximately 75mm, the roof and floor 80mm. In consulation, we can can include cutouts in the walls for windows, hatches and doors. Another option is the addition op diagonals in the front, back, top and/or bottom of the cabin. Further, the cabin can include wheel arch cutouts or awning. The cabin floor is equipped with crossbars/crossbeams with U rails (every 500mm) so it can be attatched to a subframe or the vehicle.

The frame and cassettes are welded and powder-coated. First we glue the cassettes into the frame and then we add the seam with color of your choice. The available colors are industrial colors, often in matt, smooth or fine structures. If WideBird® windows, hatches and/or doors are purchased, we can also mount these into the Mobidomo cabin. This will give you a waterproof cabin, which you can further expand, interior and exterior wise. You isolate the cabin yourself with conventional materials such as PU or XPS. But it is also possible to use sustainable mateiral such as sheepwool or impregnated wood fibre. Another option is to use aircraft grade Basotect G melamine foam to achive a lightweight solution.
