Description

Our WideBird® passage door with a 60mm frame is designed for a comfortable en safe access from drivers’ cab to cabin. The robust construction with aluminium frame and welded corners, matches our other product designs. It has a minimal and flat frame resulting in a low installation depth. The low installation depth saves space and thus offers room for other interior parts in your vehicle cabin.
The construction includes thermal separation and solid sealing. Insulation of the door is done with PU and PET rigid foam. The door has an opening angle of maximum 180°. The hinge is installed on the right, but can be installed left on request. We even have an option for passage doors with a hinge on the top, so hinged as a hatch.
Opening the passage door from the drivers’ cab is done with our flat stainless steel handle. Locking the door can be done with a key from the drivers’ cab and with a knob cylinder from the cabin side. Locking cylinders can be provided with the same key as our other WideBird® products.
Installation of our passage door in your vehicle is simple and safe. It only requires a straight cutout in which the door is glued all the way around (Installation instructions are available). Since this specific passage door has a 60mm frame it is suitable for ….
The minimalist design is standard powder-coated in RAL 9016 white. It can be ordered in a different RAL industrial colors on request (additional cost).
