WideBird® entry doors with an offset handle and a fixed window have the same robust look and feel as our standard doors. On the inside the doorhandle is at normal hight, but on the outside the door has a lowered handle or two handles (one lowered and one at normal height). This design is created for vehicles in which the door is build high from the ground. With the lowered handle you can easily open the door when standing on the ground. The extra handle on the outside at normal height can be used when your vehicle has a removable plateau. Just like our other doors, this door is also made of aluminium with welded corners. The construction includes thermal separation and a standard 3-point locking system. The door can be locked from the inside via a knob cylinder and from the outside with a key. It fully opens up to 180°. The door has a minimalist design with stainless steel handles, piano hinge and rain gutter. The handles have a minimalist design with our logo cutout and from the inside the door shows no visible technical parts. The window that is included in this model is fixed, so it cannot be opened. It is made of toughened glass with ECE 43R road approval and insulation value of standard glass panes (2.9 W/m2/K), the glass is dark grey tinted. The aluminium parts of the door have a standard powder coated color in RAL9016 white. It can be ordered in a different RAL industrial colors on request (additional cost). Installation of our entry door in your vehicle is simple and safe. It only requires a straight cutout in which the door is glued all the way around (Installation instructions are available). The entry doors are suitable for a wall thickness from 45 to 90mm. Expand your door with a matching pleated fly screen, a step plate and/or a door limiter for the ultimate user experience. A 100% darkening roller blind for the window is also an extra option.
