Storage hatch
WideBird® storage hatches are made from aluminium with thermal separation. All parts are powder-coated in RAL9016 white, but can be repainted in a color by choice. The hatches are available in different dimensions and with different options.
A standard hatch is hinged at the top and has a stainless steel handle with a euro locking cylinder. For hatches with a larger width (>120cm), a 2-point locking system and 2 handles are available. Thermal separation and a robust sealing is standard for all our hatches. Another standard addition is a stainless steel rain gutter on the top edge. The storage hatch opens to a maximum of 120°. Mounting the storage hatch is done by glueing the hatch into a straight cutout, making it simple and safe. The maintenance hatches have a simplified design, no handles only locks for accessing technical areas. Access doors are intended to be mounted between the cabin and driver cab, for easy access.

Maintenance hatch
An easy maintenance and service hatch made of aluminium for applications where daily access is not required. The installation frame has a thermal break made of plastic. The hatch itself is made of aluminium and filled with PET foam for maximum stability, it has a low installation depth of 40mm. All corners are welded to prevent tearing. A standard maintenance hatch is powder-coated in RAL 9016 matt white smooth, but can be repainted when desired. The hatch can be mounted horizontally or vertically and is provided with a stainless steel rain gutter which you can install at the top edge.
The hatch is operated using 1 or 2 Euro cylinders with a stainless steel rosette. The keys can be made to lock both the maintenance hatch and other WideBird® products. Due to the design the maintenance hatch matches the appearance of all other WideBird® products, giving you the opportunity to create a uniform appearance of your vehicle.
Access door
The access door is available in different dimensions, which allows comfortable and safe access from drivers’ cab to cabin. The robust design with aluminium frame and welded corners, has a flat minimal frame and handle on the inside. The low installation depth saves space and thus offers room for other interior parts such as cabinets.
The access door is constructed with thermal seperation and solid sealing. It is powder-coated all around in RAL 9016 white, but can be repainted when desired. Insulation of the door is done with PU and PET rigid foam. It has an opening angle of maximum 180 degrees. On the inside (cabin side) there is a flat twist lock with a knob cylinder, on the outside there is a locking cylinder and stainless steel design handle (drivers’ cab). Locking cylinders can be provided with the same key, also matching other WideBird® products. Some doors are also avaiable as a hatch with the hinge on the top.
