Window
WideBird® windows have a standard lightgrey tinted ESG double isolation glass with ECE43R road approval. The glass gives a clear view and is scratch-resistant, even after years of use. The window is hinged at the top to ensure maximum visibility. The frame has a compact design to save space. Easy installation is ensured because it is glued into a straight cut-out.
The installation frame with angle makes the window suitable for installation in various cabins such as aluminium, GRP and even wooden cabins. It is operated using aluminum handles and gas pressure springs with lever adjustment. The outer frame is powder-coated in RAL 9016 white and the glass frame in RAL 9005 matt black (the coating can be re-painted). The windows can be installed in walls with a thickness from 45 to 90 mm (for wall thicknesses from 45 to 60 mm an additional frame is sometimes required, which is not included). Dark grey tinted privacy glass with increased sun protection and a cover plate to protect against vandalism is among the extra options. Fixed window
The WideBird Fixed Window is designed to use in small spaces and spaces were opening a window is not necessary, think of windows at the rear end of the vehicle. The fixed window is of the same high quality as our top-hung windows with a new configuration. It is available in a couple of standard measurements.
The windows have an tempered insulated glass pane with an ECE43R approval. They have their own aluminum installation frame with a thermal break and are glued directly to the wall together with the glass. To protect the glass edge, a frame is included that can be glued all around. With a wall thickness of 60mm, the window is flat on the inside. The window can be installed both horizontally and vertically. As an extra option a pleated 100% darkening, blackout screen is available.
